Josh's GT2 would probably fit into that category as it has a couple of modifications.

A friend traded in his 996TT with X50 powerkit for an Atlas gray 997TT on Saturday. I went with him but I drove the SL55 K2 and he drove his 996TT. When we came to an empty straight he slowed to 45 along side and we did the 3-2-1 countdown and punched it. He immediatly got a half car length on me and we shifted back and forth maybe ten feet as each cars shiftpoint hit. When the SL grabbed 4th I started reeling him in and was maybe a nose ahead, at that point he broke it off. I was somewhat suprised as in the same situation my 997TT pulled on the SL.

AMG juice drive sure can. 585hp/628tq pushing a 4200 pound SLed with the roof down. It was one of his shifts where I pulled ahead.
